A Season-Best Performance from Malcom Smith, Jr. Leads SEED over Hancock

Malcom Smith, Jr. produced his most outstanding game to date while leading SEED to the win on Thursday. Smith, Jr. rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 137 yards and three touchdowns.

The win (which was SEED's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Smith, Jr. and SEED will take on KIPP College Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Jayden Yates Delivers Electric Performance Vs Virginia Academy

Jayden Yates put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Saturday. He rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 109 yards on nine of 20 attempts. He also made an appearance on special teams (luckily for Saint James): his a 53-yard strike wound up winning them the game.

If the past is any indication, Yates could be in store for another big game when he takes on Potomac School on Saturday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Yates saw the Panthers), he rushed for 277 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 16.3 yards per carry.

Liam Hall Makes It Two for Saint James

Riverdale Baptist pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Their road trip will continue as they head out to face Hayfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
