Basketball Recap: Shania Ferguson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lakota Tech over Deubrook

Lakota Tech has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost 67-41 to the Deubrook Dolphins on Saturday. The matchup marked the Tatanka's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lakota Tech's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shania Ferguson, who posted 12 points and six boards. Ferguson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Daisy Red Hawk, who earned six points.

Lakota Tech's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Deubrook, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.
