Volleyball Recap: Piedmont Academy Comes Up Short

Piedmont Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Union Grove Wolverines. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to the Wolverines from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

Piedmont Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Union Grove, their win bumped their record up to 3-0-1.

Coming up, Piedmont Academy will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Jasper County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Union Grove, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fayette County on the 9th.
