Football Recap: Dudley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Dudley played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 31-6 to the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Panthers came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 21st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 103rd).

Even if they lost, Dudley's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

Dudley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southeast Raleigh, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Dudley is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Hillside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southeast Raleigh, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on East Wake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
