Football Game Preview: Unity Christian Academy vs. Mount Olive Christian

Unity Christian Academy are packing up and hiking across state lines for their matchup on Friday. They hope to keep the momentum going despite having enjoyed some extra time before their next match against Mount Olive Christian at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Unity Christian Academy, but that can only make success all the sweeter.

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Unity Christian Academy ultimately got the result it was hoping for two weeks ago. They snuck past Arkansas Christian Academy with a 28-22 win. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (22) and coasted on those for the win.

Meanwhile, Mount Olive Christian didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 40-44 to Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool last week. It was a tough break for Mount Olive Christian, who improved upon an already decent score from the game before but lost both times.

Unity Christian Academy's victory lifted them to 2-1 while Mount Olive Christian's loss dropped them down to 1-3. We'll find out if Unity Christian Academy can add another positive mark to their record or if Mount Olive Christian can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Unity Christian Academy's step.
