Soccer Recap: McDonough Comes Up Short

McDonough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers. The Warhawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chargers from their previous meeting back in February of 2021.

McDonough's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.

Coming up, McDonough will look to defend their home pitch on March 20th against Morrow at 5:30 p.m. McDonough has given up an average of 6.3 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Ola at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Ola's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Eagle's Landing Christian Academy has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
