Basketball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was the 67-64 winner over Kennedy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Washington Huskies were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 53-52 to the Kennedy Titans.

Washington has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season. As for Kennedy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will challenge Moreau Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kennedy has already played their next contest (against Newark Memorial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
