Basketball Recap: Goshen Comes Up Short

Goshen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 52-30 to the Luverne Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 438th, while the Tigers are ranked 169th).

Goshen's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Luverne, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

Goshen has already played their next game (against Zion Chapel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Luverne has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Pike Liberal Arts.
