Football Game Preview: Parkway Christian vs. Southfield Christian

After two weeks on the road, Parkway Christian is heading back home. On Friday they take on Southfield Christian at HOMECOMING GAME vs Southfield Christian at 7:00 PM. Southfield Christian will need to watch out since Parkway Christian have now posted big point totals in their last five contests.

Parkway Christian might be getting used to good results now that the team have seven wins in a row. They took the matchup and then some with a 61-18 win last Friday over Oakland Christian. Senior Julian Davis, who rushed for 239 yards and 1 touchdown, was a major factor in Parkway Christian's success. Davis has now scored at least one touchdown in the past five games.

Meanwhile, Southfield Christian took their game against Mt. Clemens by a conclusive 32-6 score. Southfield Christian were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Their wins bumped Parkway Christian to 7-0 and Southfield Christian to 2-6. With both Southfield Christian and Parkway Christian swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
