Softball Recap: Trumbull Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Trumbull and Norwalk, and Norwalk kept the tradition alive. The Eagles might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-4 to the Bears, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 on Tuesday.

Trumbull's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Norwalk, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Trumbull has already played their next match, a 12-0 win against Ridgefield on the 14th. As for Norwalk, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-6 victory against Stamford on the 16th.
