Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Willard

Willard won the last time they faced Edison and things went their way on Friday too. The Crimson Flashes enjoyed a cozy 51-33 win over the Chargers. The score was all tied up 25-25 at the break, but the Crimson Flashes were the (much) better team in the second half.

The victory (which was Willard's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. As for Edison, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Willard will head out on the road to challenge Upper Sandusky at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Edison and Western Reserve will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
