Baseball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 8-4 to the Weston Ranch Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-3 last Wednesday.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Weston Ranch, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

Edison didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 19-3 defeat against Downey on the 29th. As for Weston Ranch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-4 loss against Tokay on the 29th.
