It was a good run, but Shore Regional unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They received a blow as they fell 74-56 to the Freehold Boro Colonials. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 66-49 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Shore Regional's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-3. As for Freehold Boro, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Shore Regional didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-32 win against Monmouth Regional on the 23rd. Freehold Boro has also already played their next contest, a 78-40 victory against Asbury Park on the 23rd.
