It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bertie can now relate to. They fell 65-55 to the Northampton County Jaguars on Tuesday. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

It was another big night for Jiyoun Williams, who went 8-for-9 to rack up 20 points along with seven assists and six rebounds for Northampton County. The dominant performance also gave Williams a new career-high in shooting accuracy (89%). Torrey Harris was another key player, shooting 55% from the field on his way to 19 points.

Bertie's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Northampton County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

Bertie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northampton County, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Northampton County Jaguars challenge Southern Wake Academy Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Southern Wake Academy sitting on 12 straight victories and Northampton County on three.
