Football Recap: Eureka Comes Up Short

Eureka came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by the Tri-Valley Vikings 42-7. The Hornets have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Eureka's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Tri-Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Eureka nor Tri-Valley have any future games scheduled.
