Soccer Game Preview: Rivera vs. Porter

The Rivera Raiders will head out to square off against the Porter Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rivera's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Donna by a score of 2-0. Rivera haven't had any issues with Donna recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Porter made easy work of Donna North on Tuesday and carried off a 4-0 win. Porter might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by three goals or more this season.

Rivera's record is now 13-3-1. As for Porter, their record now sits at 15-2-1.

Rivera suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Porter when the teams last played back in January. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
