Basketball Recap: Healdton Takes a Loss

If Healdton was feeling good fresh off their 62-27 takedown of Fox last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Healdton Bulldogs came up short against the Turner Falcons on Saturday, falling 57-35. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Healdton has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Turner, they pushed their record up to 10-10 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Healdton will square off against Waurika at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Turner, they are taking a road trip to square off against Thackerville at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Turner's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
