After a string of three wins, Vista's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 54-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mission Hills Grizzlies. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 60-50 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Vista's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-7. As for Mission Hills, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Vista Panthers take on the El Camino Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mission Hills, they will venture away from home to square off against Mt. Carmel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Carmel is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.4 points per game this season.
