Palmetto and Saint Stephen's Episcopal are an even 4-4 against one another since August of 2016, but not for long. The Tigers will take on the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Wednesday, Palmetto got the win against Booker by a conclusive 3-0. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Tornadoes recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Palmetto walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-16, 25-16.

Palmetto can attribute much of their success to Darma Rodriguez, who had 13 digs and three assists.

Meanwhile, Saint Stephen's Episcopal took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Wednesday. They blew past St. Petersburg Catholic 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 25-19.

Palmetto beat Saint Stephen's Episcopal 3-1 when the teams last played back in September of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
