After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Yorktown, Banquete was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 45-16 victory over the Pettus Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Bulldogs have posted since September 22, 2023.
Banquete had a senior duo take command as Damien Jenkins gained 113 total yards and three touchdowns and Aiden Flores rushed for 139 yards on only ten carries. That's the most rushing yards Flores has posted since back in September of 2023. Abraham Chapa was another key player, rushing for 73 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
