Volleyball Recap: Brentwood Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

Brentwood's tournament run continued when they took on Cherokee on Saturday. The Bruins came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0.

Daisy Oatsvall paced Brentwood's offense, picking up eight kills. Oatsvall got some help from Lauren Duncan and her 13 assists. Queen Howse and Eliza McKnight kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Brentwood has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Cherokee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Coincidentally, Brentwood and Cherokee will both be playing Alexandria the next time they take the court. The Warriors will host the Valley Cubs at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bruins will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
