Basketball Recap: South Haven Christian Now 14-4 over Last 18 Games

On Friday, South Haven Christian got the win against the Tipton Christian Academy Eagles by a conclusive 73-49. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-21.

South Haven Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jared White, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. The matchup was White's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kade Atkinson, who went 6 for 9 en route to 14 points in addition to seven boards and five steals.

South Haven Christian has been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 18 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Tipton Christian Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

South Haven Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-53 win against Central Baptist on the 1st. As for Tipton Christian Academy, they will face off against Lakeland Preparatory at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
