William Allen is on  a three-game streak of home losses, and Louis E. Dieruff a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck  on Tuesday. The William Allen Canaries will be playing at home against the Louis E. Dieruff Huskies  at 6:00  p.m. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  match.
On Friday, William Allen came up short against Pocono Mountain East  and fell  9-4.
  Erick Lopez was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Diogenes Rosario, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Louis E. Dieruff and East Stroudsburg South, and East Stroudsburg South kept the tradition alive. Louis E. Dieruff fell just short of East Stroudsburg South by a score of  4-2 on Friday.
 Frawvely Peralta was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he  pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits. Peralta was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Peralta wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Bryan Dejesus, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.  Gustavo Cepin also deserves some recognition as  he  got his first  hit of the season.
 Louis E. Dieruff's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for William Allen, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
William Allen's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's   game. William Allen has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 3.2  stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Louis E. Dieruff, though, as  they've been averaging  only 0.4  stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will William Allen continue to outrun the ball?
 William Allen came out on top in a nail-biter against Louis E. Dieruff in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024, sneaking past  3-2. Will William Allen repeat their success,  or does  Louis E. Dieruff has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
