On Tuesday, neither Classical Academy nor Cathedral Catholic could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought match, but Carlsbad had to settle for a 3-2 loss against San Marcos on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for Carlsbad in their meetings with San Marcos: they've now lost three in a row.

Classical Academy's draw makes their record 1-2-4 this season. As for Carlsbad, they now have a losing record of 2-3-1.
