Volleyball Recap: Garner Comes Up Short

Garner lost against Corinth Holders back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 20-25, 25-20.

Pamela Guzman paced Garner's offense, picking up seven kills. Guzman got some help from Haley Heath and her nine assists. Savannah Wilkins controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Garner now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Corinth Holders, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Garner has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Athens Drive on the 18th. As for Corinth Holders, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Wake Prep Academy on the 18th.
