Basketball Recap: Norwalk Truckers vs. Ashland Arrows

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Norwalk can now relate to. They took a hard 58-44 fall against the Ashland Arrows on Saturday. The Truckers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Arrows earlier this season, when they won 59-25.

Ashland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madison Hoffman led the charge by putting up 21 points and five rebounds. Those 21 points gave Hoffman a new career-high. Kennedy Lacey was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 12 boards.

Norwalk's defeat dropped their record down to 22-3. As for Ashland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Norwalk does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ashland, they will take on Notre Dame Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
