Recap: Glacier Wolfpack vs. Gallatin Raptors
With a playoff game on the line, the Glacier Wolfpack rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 35-14 margin over Gallatin. Glacier might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Glacier to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kash Goicoechea, who rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. Kobe Dorcheus and his 80 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Glacier's victory.
Despite the loss, Gallatin still got an impressive performance from Reese Dahlke, who rushed for 162 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, and also threw for 100 yards and a touchdown while completing 72.7% of his passes.
The win was the eighth in a row for Glacier, bringing their record for this year to 10-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.4 points per game. As for Gallatin, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-2.
Glacier will head out on the road to face off against Bozeman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bozeman will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Gallatin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
