North Sanpete falls despite strong effort from Cole Cook

It was a good run, but the North Sanpete Hawks unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 56-39 bruising from Canyon View. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Sanpete has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why North Sanpete lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cole Cook. Despite the final result, he scored ten points. McKay Schlappi was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
North Sanpete's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Canyon View, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Sanpete will finish 2023 at home by hosting Grand County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Grand County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully North Sanpete likes a good challenge. Canyon View will finish 2023 at home by hosting Hurricane at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Hurricane focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Wednesday.
