Basketball Recap: Woodbury Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodbury). They came out on top against the Roseville Raiders by a score of 80-73 on Friday. For the Royals, this counts as revenge for the 93-67 victory the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Woodbury's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2. As for Roseville, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodbury will venture away from home to face off against Hastings at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hastings has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 214 points over their last three games. As for Roseville, they are taking a road trip to take on Tartan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Tartan will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Roseville surely won't give up without a fight.
