Tullahoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-6 to Lawrence County. If Tullahoma was looking for revenge after losing 14-9 to Lawrence County when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Madison Goad was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Holt, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Tullahoma's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lawrence County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tullahoma will venture away from home to challenge Blackman at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Tullahoma has given up an average of 8.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Lawrence County, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Lawrence County Wildcats duke it out with Marshall County Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in their favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
