Blaine Johnson Game Report: vs Bassick

Blaine Johnson posted a new career-high in hits on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, scoring a run and stealing six bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That run was his first of the season.

Coming up, Johnson and Waterbury Career Academy will host Woodland Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans haven't beaten the Hawks recently, having gone 0-5 since April of 2017.
