Basketball Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss

Cascade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 56-10 loss at the hands of the Glacier Peak Grizzlies. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Grizzlies are ranked 95th).

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Glacier Peak, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Cascade does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Glacier Peak, they and King's will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as King's comes in on five and Glacier Peak on four.
