Softball Preview: Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars vs. Yorktown Patriots
The Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars will face off against the Yorktown Patriots at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Cicero-North Syracuse had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on Camden with a sharp 19-12 win last Thursday.
Lily Hotaling looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.
