Basketball Recap: Seckinger Comes Up Short

Seckinger has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 65-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pickens Dragons on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 80th, while the Dragons are ranked ninth).

Seckinger's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Pickens, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Seckinger and Walker Valley will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Walker Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matchups -- so hopefully Seckinger likes a good challenge. As for Pickens, they will face off against Johnson at 7:30 p.m. on December 30th.
