Nueva Esperanza was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Abraham Lincoln on Monday. Nueva Esperanza was the clear victor by a 15-9 margin over Abraham Lincoln. Nueva Esperanza might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory got Nueva Esperanza back to even at 4-4-1. As for Abraham Lincoln, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Nueva Esperanza will face off against Girard Academic Music Program at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pioneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 23.4 runs per game on average), something Nueva Esperanza will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Abraham Lincoln, they will head out on the road to take on Constitution at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Railsplitters will need to watch out since the Generals have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
