Kerman hasn't had much luck against Selma recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lions will head out on the road to take on the Bears at 6:30 p.m. Kerman's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Selma's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Selma and Reedley meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Bears came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pirates, sneaking past 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bears have posted since March 8th.
Gabriela Pena spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on eight hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Selma saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Audreena Duron, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits Duron has posted since back in March.
