Baseball Preview: Gaffney Indians vs. Riverside Warriors
For the second straight game, Gaffney will face off against Riverside. The Indians will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Warriors at 6:30 p.m.
Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Gaffney turned things around against Riverside on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 7-3.
Brody Bright spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
