Soccer Game Preview: Pacific vs. North County

The Pacific Indians will venture away from home to challenge the North County Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Pacific's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, Pacific narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Union 2-1. Given Pacific's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Union are ranked 128th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, North County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Farmington, falling 6-0.

Pacific's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for North County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Everything went Pacific's way against North County when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Pacific made off with a 4-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
