Volleyball Recap: Shelby Ostrander Key Part of Team Effort in Patriots Win

There's no place like home for Piedmont Community Charter, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Queen's Grant Stallions on Tuesday. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Stallions, too.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-4, 17-25, 25-15.

Piedmont Community Charter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shelby Ostrander, who had four aces and three digs. That's the most aces Ostrander has posted since back in September of 2024.

Ostrander wasn't the only good server: Piedmont Community Charter was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 14 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

The Stallions are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
