Baseball Recap: Ider Takes a Loss

Ider was the 12-5 winner over Pisgah when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets lost 13-1 to the Eagles on Monday. The Hornets' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Ider's loss dropped their record down to 25-13. As for Pisgah, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Ider does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pisgah, they will head out to take on Geraldine at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.76 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
