Soccer Recap: Hagerty Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hagerty can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winter Park Wildcats on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 11 goals in the game before, the Huskies couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Mali Burke, who's now up to 13 this season.

Hagerty has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6-1 record this season. As for Winter Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2-1 record this season.

Hagerty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winter Park, they will face off against Timber Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Winter Park is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
