Baseball Recap: Sheets Memorial Christian Triumphs

While Sheets Memorial Christian's victory against Asheboro Hybrid Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Sheets Memorial Christian had just enough and edged out Asheboro Hybrid Academy 13-11. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Jacob Kennedy was incredible, scoring three runs while going 5-for-5. Another player making a difference was Aiden McMahan, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

Kennedy wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Sheets Memorial Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since the start of last season.

The win made it two in a row for Sheets Memorial Christian and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Asheboro Hybrid Academy, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
