Football Recap: Port Angeles Wins Going Away Against Forks + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mt. Baker, Port Angeles was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Forks Spartans with points to spare, taking the game 26-7. For the Roughriders, this counts as revenge for the 13-7 victory the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

The win got Port Angeles back to even at 1-1. As for Forks, they dropped their record down to 0-2-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Port Angeles will venture away from home to face off against North Mason at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Roughriders their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Forks, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Meridian at 1:00 p.m. on the 27th.
