Softball Recap: Six Straight Road Wins for Baldwin-Woodville

Baldwin-Woodville posted their closest victory since April 8th on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Prescott Cardinals, sneaking past 4-2. For the Blackhawks, this counts as revenge for the 7-2 win the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Baldwin-Woodville's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Prescott, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5.
