Bishop Gorman barely beat Silverado the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Gaels put the hurt on the Skyhawks with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Gaels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bishop Gorman never let Silverado on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-22.

Kilian Curran paced Bishop Gorman's offense, picking up nine kills. Curran really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with two. Aiden Tran and Rome Ramos kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Bishop Gorman's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9. As for Silverado, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
