Basketball Recap: Catholic Central Find Success

Catholic Central posted their closest win since January 26, 2024 on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Harrison Central Huskies, sneaking past 41-39. For the Crusaders, this counts as revenge for the 62-16 victory the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2021.

Catholic Central's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Harrison Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Catholic Central will challenge Bishop Rosecrans at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. As for Harrison Central, they will take on Edison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harrison Central is facing Edison at the right time seeing as Edison is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
