Santa Ynez piles up the points against San Luis Obispo Classical Academy

The Santa Ynez Pirates had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past San Luis Obispo Classical Academy 63-21 on the road. The win was just what Santa Ynez needed coming off of a 80-40 defeat in their prior matchup.
Santa Ynez found their leader in underclassman Lucas Ollenburger, who scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Hale Durbiano, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds.
The victory got Santa Ynez back to even at 4-4. As for San Luis Obispo Classical Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Santa Ynez's road trip will continue as they head out to face Righetti at 6:30 p.m. on December 11th. As for San Luis Obispo Classical Academy, they will challenge Coastal Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
