Softball Game Preview: Lexington Golden Bears vs. Lauderdale County Tigers

Lexington hasn't had much luck against Lauderdale County recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Lexington Golden Bears will be taking part in a tournament against the Lauderdale County Tigers at 11:30 a.m.

Lexington saw some tournament action on Friday. They lost 15-4 to Brooks.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lauderdale County duked it out with Brooks on Friday. Lauderdale County had just enough and edged out Brooks 3-2.

Lauderdale County now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lexington, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Lexington couldn't quite finish off Lauderdale County in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 and fell 6-4. Can Lexington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
