Football Game Preview: Bunnell Bulldogs vs. Fitch Falcons + How To Watch

The Bunnell Bulldogs will take on the Fitch Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bunnell's defense has only allowed 10.4 points per game this season, so Fitch's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Fitch will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Bunnell extended their winning streak to five on Thursday. The Bulldogs blew past Stratford 35-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bulldogs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut football rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Red Devils are ranked 88th).

Bunnell didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Rody Ricketts and Robert Drish III. Bunnell got some further help from Rickie Miller: he picked up two sacks and made nine total tackles.

Meanwhile, Fitch has more to be thankful for after their matchup against Ledyard on Thursday. The Falcons strolled past the Colonels with points to spare, taking the game 30-14.

The critical scores for Fitch came from Mark McBride, Evan Spader, Porter Carter, and Anthony Spader.

Fitch was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 210 rushing yards. They are 5-2 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Bunnell's record is now 8-2. As for Fitch, their record now sits at 6-4.

Bunnell ended up a good deal behind Fitch when the teams last played back in September of 2019, losing 26-7. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
