Softball Game Preview: Seymour Panthers vs. Windthorst Trojans

Seymour hasn't had much luck against Windthorst recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Seymour Panthers will head out to challenge the Windthorst Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Seymour is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Seymour fell victim to Windthorst and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Windthorst's part, Karissa Fillingim and Chloe Schroeder did most of the damage at the plate: Fillingim went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs, while Schroeder scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3.
